Hip To The Blues • Jazz Duets for Trumpet

$16.95

Hip To The Blues for Trumpet was written and arranged by Lee West, a proud alum of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. This series of 22 jazz duets for Trumpet, Flute, Alto Sax, and Trombone combines the best elements of education, playability, and musical fun.

These lyrical melodies are unique to the music industry and the audio performance is recorded in a “music minus one” fashion with the duet being played in entirety (both parts) if your stereo is evenly balanced.

Move the balance to right or left channel to isolate the top or bottom (1st or 2nd) part and play the blues duets along with Chris Tedesco, one of the best studio trumpet players in the Los Angeles circuit.

Originally written for trumpet, so this is where it all began and was one of our very first titles added to the NYSSMA catalog as required audition material for Jazz Trumpet Students, so get ready to enjoy all 22 of these incredibly “Hip” Lee West “Blues” titles and lead the charge towards this highly acclaimed the state contest!
