Hip To The Blues • Jazz Duets for Trumpet • Book 2

Hip to The Blues Book 2 for Trumpet is everything you enjoyed and appreciated from the first series and more. With 22 new jazz duets written by Jonathon Robbins and edited by Tony Santorella, only this time they are all arranged in accommodating keys.

All three winds as in Trumpet, Flute, and Alto Saxophone (Eb, Bb & C) have the ability to play as a duet or altogether in any combination. The audio performance is recorded in the same fashion whereas the duet is played in entirety (both parts) if your stereo is evenly balanced.

Move the balance to right or left channel to isolate the top or bottom (1st or 2nd) part and play along with Chris Tedesco, one of the best professional trumpet players in the Los Angeles studio circuit.

The original concept behind these books was to create a variety of duets in a comfortable range for jazz trumpet and now that they are in the right keys, we can all get “Hip To The Blues” and have some fun!
