This familiar Appalachian melody was found in an old hidden shaker hymnal and brought to life in Aaron Copeland’s most famous work.

Jonathon Robbins has brought this simple melody into our lives with this piano vocal & guitar arrangement with lyrics. Originally written by Elder Joseph Bracket to give thanks and praise for the “Simple Gifts” that we all so fortunately possess.

The Elders teach that we must learn to appreciate the “little things” and be true to one another. This simplistic way of life is one that the Amish culture embraces and Simple Gifts has become an inspirational theme that is heard at most every ceremonial and sacred gathering.
