My Favorite Classics • Level One


My Favorite Classics is an extensive collection of 72 of the world’s most favorite and most beloved classics written for easy piano by the masterful composer greats spanning the important musical periods from the early Baroque Era to the Twentieth Century.

Each piece is presented as originally written by the composer, without alteration, and arranged within by approximate order of difficulty from grade 1 to grade 3 in the national piano grading system.

Required by NYSSMA for auditions, this Level One exposes students to the widest variety of pieces and composers available in print today.

From Bach to Bartók, Mozart to MacDowell, Schumann to Stravinsky, Purcell to Prokofiev, these selections will serve to develop the skills needed to play a wide variety of musical styles.
